When you place an order, you will see a delivery timeslot as soon as the same day. A LéPin driver will bring the order to your door (if you live in an apartment, please make sure he or she can get into the building). You'll be able to recognize our drivers by their LéPin order forms and by the boxes of carefully packed fresh food they'll have with them.
After your second order, we recommend authorizing an alternate recipient in your building (read more below about alternate recipients).
Please note that in order to meet our delivery times for all of our customers, drivers can't wait for an inspection of the items delivered. If anything is wrong with your order, please contact LéPin Customer Service right away through our Get Help page
Bad weather or other unforeseeable traffic emergencies may force us to postpone or suspend chosen delivery dates and times. If there is a significant delay, a customer service representative will call or e-mail to update you on your delivery status.
If your order contains alcoholic beverages, the person who receives your delivery must have identification proving that they are over the age of 18, and they will be asked for their signature.
If no one over the age of 18 can sign for delivery, the driver will remove alcoholic beverages from the order and you will be charged a 50% restocking fee.
LéPin was designed to be the perfect environment for food, and we separate different types of food into 4 different climate zones to ensure the quality of our products.
Our design for handling food results in three separate assembly processes which create separate boxes for Meat, baked goods and packaged items; Dairy, Deli, Coffee and Tea items packed together; and Frozen and select refrigerated Produce (like cake and cupcakes) packed together.
The number of items in a box has a direct relationship to the number of items ordered from a given department. Sometimes, boxes may be packed with only a few items depending on what you have ordered. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage you to recycle your boxes. Unfortunately, LéPin cannot currently pick up or re-use boxes.
To add an address to your Account, you log into your account with your email and password info, then click into the Delivery Address Option link at the left side of Your Account page. You'll see Add a new address. Click on this link and follow the instructions to submit your new extra address.
To edit your LePIN profile, you log in with your email and password info, then click into the User information link at the left side of Your Account page. Here you can edit and save the information.

Orders over 200 RMB: Members whose orders exceed 200 RMB will receive free shipping.
Orders less than 200 RMB: Members with orders under 200 RMB will be charged actual shipping fees for delivery.

We deliver each day, starting as early as 12 p.m. You can schedule a delivery time up to a week in advance, or as late as 4 p.m. on the day before delivery.
LéPin orders are designed to arrive within the timeslot you see when you place the order. If there are unforeseen events that cause your order to be late, you will receive a call from our Customer Service team. If you'd like a status update for your order, feel free to contact us at any time.
We cannot make changes to delivery timeslots on the day of delivery. We are simply not set up logistically to make these types of changes after the order cutoff time. We realize, however, that unplanned events occur and ask that you call our Customer Service team at 400-888-3050, to inquire about accommodating your request.
When you're not home during your selected timeslot, we will do our best to redeliver your order later the same day (a 15 RMB redelivery fee applies). If your order cannot be redelivered that day, there is a restocking fee of 100% of the cost of baked items in the order plus 25% of the cost of packaged goods plus 50% of the total amount of any beer items, excluding fees and tax.
We'll always try to deliver your order directly to you. If your building has a doorman, you may authorize him to receive orders on your behalf. After your second order, we recommend selecting a neighbor to receive your order in case you're not at home when we arrive. The only catch is that they are responsible for keeping your perishable items cold and your frozen items frozen until you pick them up, so choose a neighbor you know and like — and be sure to ask their permission first.
Anyone in the LéPin area can place an order online for pickup at one of our facility, located in the inner city of Shanghai.
